After months of working on the preparation of this clearing house for the Clean Water Restoration Act, we are finally up and running.  A little scarey because this issue is so big and tough to break down to understand quickly.  Many of you have been following this issue for years and living with the nightmare of the implementation of the bill.  Others are brand new to the issue and are just waking up to the "oh my gosh, this is HUGE" realization. 

The purpose of the National Water & Conservation Alliance is to lead a national grassroots movement that will result in local and regional alternatives to the proposed Clean Water Restoration Act in order to achieve water quality objectives that reflect broad, popular support among people and communities directly affected by environmental policies and regulations.  
 
We are also looking for stories to post on our site.  Stories of how the Clean Water Restoration Act has or will change how you run your business, or live your daily life.  We want to help others learn from your experience.  Please share.

Don Parmater has studied this issue for over 30 years, me I have been working on Property Rights issues for close to 15 years.  Many of you out there have also been in the trenches for a long time.

 It is our goal to keep you updated with information as soon as we know it and then to educate the grassroots on how to act and stop this egregious proposed legislation.  We will need to build a team to get this stopped.  We need many voices speaking out against S. 787; and the future House bill that has not popped up yet, but will.  We have a great opportunity to make our voices heard.  Let's do it.  We look forward to hearing from you!
