Every day I read that another group has either testified against S.787, the Clean Water Restoration Act (CWRA) or sent a letter to their organizations' members that they  oppose this bill.  As the the outcry of the opposition grows our elected officials will hear our voice.  But it will need to reach that tipping point, we are not there yet.  I strongly encourage you to continue to write, call & fax (don't forget the fax...it is a great way to get your opinion seen in the legislators office) our elected official to tell them NOT to vote for this bill. 

Encourage others to write, has your local Farm Bureau sent in a letter, or the Building Industry group?  Organizartions that represent a group of people speak  loudly to our elected officials.  We need to keep the drumbeat up. Healthcare may be the topic at the moment but I guarantee you there is a large group of people working behind the scenes ready to hit the ground running when they see a window of opportunity.

Summer is a great time to be with your family and friends.  The last thing we want to do is pay attention to what is happening in Washington DC, but we must.
